week2-2 Why study history?


Engels said: "We do not doubt that history ,history is related to us.Marx's German ideology also says that we know only one science – history.I think there are two things that need to be noted: one, to guide the future with history. two enhance national pride and self-confidence. From the perspective of the beneficiaries of history, history can be divided into micro- and macro-levels; one is the role of history in individuals and businesses; and the other is the role of history in the country. History itself is real, an objective fact.As the German philosopher (Wendellbane)once said, humans are historical animals.History is fundamentally different from other scientific and technological natural sciences, and in everyday teaching, we find that teaching students to understand history does not allow students to make the most of what they have learned in the past.The most important thing that history teachers teach students is to respect facts and pursue an objective attitude of knowledge. History is of no technological value!Therefore, learning history is very good for all of us.

Sum mary   Deviation refers to the act of violating cultural norms. Violating the law is usually called an official deviation, and the act of violating informal social norms is called an informal deviation. Deviation can vary considerably depending on culture. Deviations defined by sociologists have many forms. Merton suggested a type of deviant behavior. According to him, the type of deviation is presented based on two criteria. The first condition is the adherence to personal motivation or cultural goals. The second condition is the individual's belief in how to achieve the goal. By selecting these conditions as Yes or No, there are four types and one additional type. The four types appear to be suitability, innovation, realism, and retro. One additional type is "rebellion," which refers to an individual rejecting both cultural goals and means of achievement, replacing or creating new means and goals. 1. Summary -       Dramaturgy is a sociological perspective commonly used in micro-social explanations of social interactions in everyday life. In drama sociology, it is argued that the elements of human interaction depend on time, place and courtesy. The dramatic view is one of several sociological paradigms separate from other sociological theories because it analyzes context rather than examining the causes of human behavior. In the dramatic model, social interaction is analyzed in such a way that people live their lives like actors acting on stage. There are also seven important factors identified by Goffman regarding performance.
