W9-2 :: Deviance

1. Summary
This article introduces the theory of deviance. Deviation is an act of pre-exercise. Here the norm is the social norm to be observed as a human being. These deviations are classified into two categories - first, a deviation that refers to legal violations such as robbery, theft, murder, and rape, called official deviations. Second, it is an act that is not a big problem legally, but it is an act that causes harm to others, and is called an unofficial deviation. Deviation from a structural functionalist standpoint is an important act. Because deviance helps to distinguish acceptable behavior from unacceptable behavior itself. Deviation can also be seen as a means of changing society over time.

2. Interesting
I thought it was unconditionally negative because it was a deviation, but it was interesting that it had some effect on society. As mentioned above, it gives an awareness of what is right or wrong, or it helps radical changes in society.

3. Discussions
However, there is much discussion about the means of social control to correct deviations. There are many alternatives, such as retaliation, restraint, rehabilitation, and social protection, which direction can help as many members of society as possible but awaken the deviant?
