week 11-1 Symbolic interactionism

Summary

Symbolic interaction is a sociological theory that develops from practical considerations and implies people's use of certain dialects, creating images and creating general meanings for inference and communication with others. The symbolic interaction originates from the sociological perspective developed in the mid-20th century, and the symbolic interaction affects social psychology and microsocialism. The symbolic interaction was designed by George Herbert Mead and Charles Horton Coolie. And Herbert Blummer coined the term and came up with an influential summary. Most symbolic interaction scholars believe that physical reality actually exists by individual social justice, and that social justice is partly or partly related to" real". This is called an assumption. If some of the basic assumptions about symbolic interaction have been defined, it is necessary to address the premise supported by each assumption. 1) Humans act according to the meaning of things 2) The meanings of these things originate or arise from the social interactions that people have with other people or society. 3) The meaning is processed and modified through the analytical process used to deal with the encounter. There are five key ideas for symbolic interaction, says Joel M. 1. Man should be understood as a social person. 2. Human beings should be understood as thinking beings. 3. Humans do not directly sense their environment, but instead humans define the situation they are in. 4. The cause of human behavior is the result of what is happening in our present situation. 5. Human beings are described as active beings in relation to the environment. But symbolic reciprocityists. are often criticized for being overly impressionist in their methods of study and somewhat disorganized in their theories.

Sum mary   Deviation refers to the act of violating cultural norms. Violating the law is usually called an official deviation, and the act of violating informal social norms is called an informal deviation. Deviation can vary considerably depending on culture. Deviations defined by sociologists have many forms. Merton suggested a type of deviant behavior. According to him, the type of deviation is presented based on two criteria. The first condition is the adherence to personal motivation or cultural goals. The second condition is the individual's belief in how to achieve the goal. By selecting these conditions as Yes or No, there are four types and one additional type. The four types appear to be suitability, innovation, realism, and retro. 1. Summary -       Dramaturgy is a sociological perspective commonly used in micro-social explanations of social interactions in everyday life. In drama sociology, it is argued that the elements of human interaction depend on time, place and courtesy. The dramatic view is one of several sociological paradigms separate from other sociological theories because it analyzes context rather than examining the causes of human behavior. In the dramatic model, social interaction is analyzed in such a way that people live their lives like actors acting on stage. There are also seven important factors identified by Goffman regarding performance. The steps represent three areas (front, back, outside) where you can find multiple individuals with different roles and information.
