Economic sociology

1. Summary

Economic sociology is the study of social causes and effects of various economic phenomena. Classical economics and sociology emerged as a new approach to the analysis of economic phenomena. This especially emphasizes the role of the economic structure and system that works on society, and the influence of a society on the nature of the economic structure and system. Modern economic sociology is particularly focused on the social consequences of economic exchanges, the social implications that the consequences entail, and the social interactions they promote or hinder. New economics and sociology is the main methodology for studying this phenomenon by analyzing social networks. Modern Marxist ideas have focused on the social implications of capitalism and the economic development within the system of economic relations that produce them.

2. Interesting

I only knew the existence of economics, but I learned the existence of economic sociology through this article. In addition to capitalism, a previously read article, and Marxism briefly introduced in this article, curiosity arose about other economic theories.

3. Discussion

How does economic sociology view our society?
