Socioeconomics
1. Summary
Socioeconomics is a social science that studies how economic activities affect, and is shaped by social processes. Socioecomics is also used as a generic term for various areas of inquiry. The term "socioconomics" can be broadly referred to as "the use of economics in social research." In a narrower sense, modern practices take into account the behavioral interactions and social norms of individuals and groups through social capital and social "market" and the formation of social norms. Regional socioeconomic systems refer to the way socioeconomic factors affect each other in communities and households. These systems have a great impact on the environment through deforestation, pollution, natural disasters, and energy production and use. Deforestation in Pakistan is a major cause of environmental change. Deforestation can be attributed to population growth, changes in household dynamics and resource management. Marine pollution has affected small fishing communities around the world. Natural disasters can affect the local economy because they interfere with the overall flow of communities. Another socioeconomic factor is the change in households. Direct energy consumption increased as the population moved under one roof.
2. Interesting
It was impressive that all the things we experienced around us were related to the economy. In particular, I think it could be linked to this COVID-19 incident. As the COVID-19 has stopped the flow of money both at home and abroad, the global economy has stagnated. I think this phenomenon can also be analyzed more deeply through socioeconomics.
3. Discussion
What socioeconomic phenomena can we find in our daily lives?
