11-2) Dramaturgy
Dramaturgy (sociology)
1. Summary
Dramaturgy is one of the microsocial explanations of social interactions in everyday life. The term was first used through 'Gopman'. He argued that our society is a theater, and that individuals are actors and perform the roles given to them.
Dramaturgy said that an individual's identity is not a stable and independent entity, but rather interacts with others and continues to be recreated.
Individuals behave differently in front of the stage, behind the stage, off the stage, and on all its boundaries. There are secrets that must be kept in order for the play to be carried out well.
2. Interesting
"Performers may communicate out of character on purpose, to signal to others on their team, or by accident." is interesting. Examples of these are gossip, complaints, contemptuous attitudes, etc. As if this attitude in the play would make a problem, in fact, this attitude makes a problem with the interaction between people.
3. Discussion
According to Dramaturgy, what role do you play in which theater?
