1. summary
Politics is a process in which people in a group make social and economic decisions, consisting of social relationships that include methods and tactics used to create and apply social policies, such as authority, power, and regulation of political units. Political power is a kind of power a group has in society to manage the distribution of public resources, including labor and wealth. The degree to which a power is owned relates to the amount of social influence wielded by those who own it. In other words, it is defined as the ability to influence the behavior of others.
Authority is sometimes used interchangeably with "power" but has a different meaning. Authority refers to claims of legitimacy, legitimacy and the right to exercise power.
Violence is that the government may have the right to use violence if it refuses to comply with the government's instructions. However, the lack of a right to use Violence does not mean that the government has no authority.
Governments can be divided into various types, first of all Monarchy was a common form in ancient and medieval times as a form of government in an individual whose absolute or nominally supreme power is the head of the state. Even now, some countries, such as Japan and Britain, still have monarchs, but their political power is limited.

Democracy has two principles: the first principle is that all members of society have equal access to power, and the second principle is that all members enjoy universally recognized freedoms.

2. interesting
Inequality arising from the vote was considered interesting. It was particularly interesting that women accounted for a very small percentage of elected officials, and that the chances of older people voting and becoming politicians were both higher than younger people. Because it is really a problem that can be seen around me. In fact, the proportion of women among politicians in Korea is very low, and the approval ratings of older people play a very big role in who wins the election.
3. discussion
Politically, do you think the social environment of the socially disadvantaged (such as children, women, ethnic minorities, the disabled, etc.) is difficult to change, especially due to the occurrence of inequality in voting?
I think the social environment of socially disadvantaged people in voting can change sufficiently.
ReplyDeleteWith the recent revision of the 'Public Election Act', the age to participate in elections has fallen to 18.
These changes have widened the number of voters who participate in politics directly.
In the case of South Korea, a party representing the voice of a minority is a minority party. When the nation's elections will not be a political battle between the ruling and opposition parties, I think the problem will be solvable.
