 Topics in Sociology_Social network

1. Summarize in my own words of materials I read.

Social networks are a set of social structures that can be seen as social interactions. Social network provides a theory that explains the various patterns observed in social structures. This is an interdisciplinary field. Social networks first emerged in studies in the field of sociology to study interpersonal relationships. This is a useful composition for studying relationships between individuals, groups, organizations, and the entire society in social science. Social network access to understand social interactions is useful for extensive research.

The analytical levels of social networks are divided into 1) Micro-level 2) Meso-level 3) Macro level. The micro-level is when you track social relationships that can begin with small groups of individuals at a micro level. The meso-level begins with the size of the population and corresponds to the middle level theory. These are often used to represent the connection between the micro-level and the macro-level. Finally, the macro level tracks the consequences of interactions such as large populations, economies, and resource transfers. Not used for interpersonal interaction.

2. Mention of any new, interesting or unusual items learned.

Social networks have been found to be used in various studies, including communications, communities, complex networks, crime networks, demographics, economic sociology, and literary networks. Rather, it was surprising that unused research was rare.
These social networks combine with software to create a new medium for social interaction called 'computer networks'. It not only sends and receives data files or programs through computers, but also shares a variety of information, including emotional support, meetings, and so on.

3. Identify at least one question, concern, or discussion angle that is either problematic in some respect or could have been elaborated more.

Social networks are growing rapidly and growing in line with the global media market. Access to information has also become easier and network expansion has enabled us to identify relationships among many people and use them for research. Is the information we get from social networks accurate? Wouldn't information connected to one network cause confusion?
