WEEK 9 : Color pink is associated with girls . why?

This is also a child's will, but it is said to be largely influenced by society, family, and groups. In other words, a child may want to buy something pink, but this is not a child's inclination, but rather a person's being encouraged to like it.
It is said that the symbol of red and pink color that means women was a social product and a historical one. In other words, it is not universal because it is only applicable to certain times. For example, among European aristocrats in the past, boys were heavily dressed in red.
It is said that women are thought to be related to pink objects, and that what is symbolized was established after the mid-20th century. It started with toy vendors judging that it would be more profitable to have different tastes for boys and girls.Or what appears in the media also affects. We can see and heard division of women and men by the color in the obstetrics and gynecology when women were pregnant.Women can heard that,when the baby is predicted as a girl, it would be great to prepare pink clothes or room. If the baby is a boy, you can heard that it would be great to prepare blue one from the doctor.
As such, the colors that someone used to distinguish men and women continued to be used to establish as historical situations and products. But now, pink is not just about women. Because propensity changes.

    I agree with you. I think it was a choice that was more influenced by the surrounding environment than personal preference.

1. Summary  Sociology is the study of what activities and thoughts human beings have as members of society. They are also interested in the structure of society and have a welfare system in place From small to big, the areas that society deals with vary. A Short Summary of ‘ Introduction to Sociology/Sociological Methods’ This part of the book is about the methods employed in sociology and some standards of the methods and what it tells us. In scientific methods, there are four steps. Characterization, hypothesis, prediction and testing. For the best prediction in scientific methods, we need to know the correct relationship between correlation and causation. It is important not to mistake correlation and causation. Also, quantitative and qualitative methods are two different approaches of sociological research.
