Week 9_ Introduction to Sociology/Socialization

1. Summary

Socialization is a basic sociological concept, consisting of many factors. It is the process of preparing human beings for a good social life, and socialization is related to the times, cultures, and places. Socialization is generally divided into two parts: primary and secondary. Socialization takes place over a lifetime.

2. Interesting

It was also impressive that socialization is an important sociological process in the development of individuals who can function in human society, but not all aspects of human behavior are learned. It may actually be biologically determined that some aspects of human behavior, such as empathy and morality, may be believed to have been learned.

3. Discussion

Do you know the case of a human being whose socialization has not been achieved?
