Make up class-2 Introduction to Sociology/Demography

A short summary of “Introduction to Sociology/Demography”
Demography is a discipline that studies human demographics. Includes research on population size and structure, distribution, how the population changes over time due to birth, death, migration, and ageing. Demographic analysis may be associated with smaller groups defined by such criteria as overall society or education, religion or ethnicity. Before proposing complex theories to explain sociological phenomena, sociologists must first use demographic indicators to explain as much as possible, especially at macro and social levels. Demographic analysis is a powerful tool to explain many sociological phenomena.
Reliable demographic material is still difficult to obtain from many countries, especially developing countries.

What I found interesting about “Introduction to Sociology/Demography”
I found population growth and overpopulation interesting because Korea is rather suffering from underpopulation.
The most productive approach to solving the overpopulation is to provide a combination of help aimed at population control and self-sufficiency. It is said that one of the most important measures proposed for these efforts is to grant women's authority in educational, economic, political and home.  Where women's status has improved dramatically, it is generally said that the birthrate has declined sharply to a more sustainable level.

Something I want to know more
I want to know if there are policies that can enhance the situation of the low fertility rates, not a short-sighted solution but a long-sighted one.
