Make up classes. Demographics

Summary

Demographics is the study of the birth trend, number, etc. of the population. The reason for studying this study is to explain the causes and consequences of social phenomena. To this end, demographic indicators should be considered first. Long-term data is needed to investigate this.
The most important indicators in demographics are birth and death rates.

The birth rate refers to the average probability of a child being born.To maintain the current population, an average of 2.1 children must be born. However, the strongest variable in this birth rate is the woman's cunning achievement. It is generally said that high levels of educational achievement result in a low birth rate. Of course, it is not that education has a direct impact, but that other factors associated with education affect the low birthrate. Also, the birth rate is related to a country's level of development. In developing countries, it can be said that giving birth to a child is somewhat beneficial to the development of the country because it provides cheap labor. In developed countries, child rearing costs (such as education and child rearing costs) reduce the nation's fertility rate. This shows the difference of perspective on the upbringing of developing and developed countries.

Death rate refers to the rate at which humans die. Demographics are concerned with the number of deaths in time or place, or the proportion of deaths to population. However, these can give a misleading impression.
The biggest variable for mortality is also education. This is because the mechanism that works through education makes the proportion of people who engage in healthy behaviors, such as frequent exercise, decrease the likelihood of smoking, and ensure educational opportunities to reduce risky behavior.

Statistical changes in population are called demographic changes that change in population from high to low. This, too, explains that education is a major cause, and that statistical changes have emerged because it affects children's status or to gain more wealth. However, because this is a generalization that acts on a group, it is not clear whether it is right or wrong individually.

Currently, there are many opinions on the decline in the world's population. According to Malthus, if the population grows excessively, the use of resources will increase significantly, which will result in famine or starvation. Malthus suggested moral constraints on population control as a countermeasure. But contrary to Malthus' predictions, the increase in food production was much faster than that of mankind. However, those who were pessimistic about it saw that even if they endured the increase now, famine or starvation would eventually come, and indirectly, the population would be controlled through war or pandemic.

Interesting point

It was interesting because it seemed to be sociological middle ground that the importance of education had a great impact on the population.

Discussion

What measures can we consider for a stable increase in the population?
