Week 13-1 Introduction to Sociology_Gender

Introduction to Gender

1. Summarize

Gender means a statement of common understanding and discriminatory social status about the composition of masculine and feminine behavior. The concept of gender arises and is dependent on behavioral expectations and norms. It is as if the actor prepared for the play as if he were acting in charge of gender. There are certainly physiological differences in gender. I don't know how it exists, but there is a difference. There is also a difference between men and women in education. It is an "educational achievement," in which men who have long been exclusively educated have increasingly been given educational opportunities for women, and are now equally educated regardless of gender. As such, there are many differences depending on gender, but differences and differences are different. Differences should be respected, but discrimination should not exist.

2. Interesting

Typically gender discrimination is a typical unequal situation caused by gender differences. Despite the noticeable increase in women's participation in sports, the scope of what is mainly covered in the news has not changed. In 1989, women only had 5 percent of the time to be on the air. In particular, sports highlights shows were less accommodating than conventional media, offering only 2-3 percent of them. This is an example of gender discrimination in the media. This is not the case now, but in the past this is an imbalance.

3. Discussion

What do you think about gender?
