Week13: What is expected of men and women in home and workplace?

Men and women have slightly different roles expected at home and at work. Women's roles in the family are expected to be self-reliant, whether they are working or not. Usually, cooking, washing, and cleaning are shared with men, but they generally play a role in a lot of housework. And in the home, most men expect to play the role of head of household and be able to meet financial demands. Women and men do the same work in the workplace, but men are expected to work when they need the power to lift heavy things. And women do that because they are expected to play a more meticulous or detailed role than men. These seem to be social prejudices and customs deeply embedded in our society. Unlike what we expect by gender, I think we should look forward to it by looking at it in person, regardless of gender.
